Privacy Policy

This explains what we collect when you take part in a Momentum campaign, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
From Discord
Participation runs through Discord, so we store your Discord user ID, username, display name, and avatar. This is how we know whose clips are whose and where to send campaign updates.
The accounts you connect
When you connect a social account, we store the platform and the handle, and we read that account's public bio once to confirm the verification code is there. We do not ask for, and never receive, your password to any platform.
The clips you submit
For every clip: the URL, the platform, the thumbnail, when it was posted, and its public performance figures — views, likes, and comments — refreshed over time so a cycle can be settled on current numbers.
Payment details
The wallet address or payment account you give us for payouts, and a record of payouts made to you. We do not collect or store card numbers, bank credentials, or government ID.
Support messages
Tickets, appeals, and messages you send us in the Discord, so we have a record of what was decided and why.
Website analytics
Our site uses privacy-friendly analytics to count page visits. This does not identify you personally and is not linked to your campaign activity.
How we use it
- To run campaigns: matching clips to people, tracking performance, and calculating what is owed.
- To pay you.
- To confirm that connected accounts genuinely belong to you.
- To detect purchased views and other inorganic engagement, which protects everyone else's share.
- To answer support tickets and handle appeals.
- To report aggregate campaign performance to the client who funded it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
What is visible to others
Campaign leaderboards show a participant's name, clip count, view totals, and earnings to others in that campaign. If you would rather not appear by name, you can switch on the leaderboard privacy option in Discord and your name will be hidden on every public leaderboard across Momentum.
Clients receive campaign results. They see clip performance and the clips themselves; they do not receive your payment details.
Who we share it with
- Discord — the platform the campaigns run on.
- Data providers — services that return the public view and engagement figures for a submitted clip, and the platforms' own public APIs. They receive the clip URL or its public ID, not your personal details.
- Hosting and database providers — the infrastructure this site and its data run on.
- Payment networks — a payout necessarily involves the address or account you gave us.
- Where the law requires it — if we are legally obliged to disclose something.
How long we keep it
Campaign and payout records are kept while you take part and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and dispute purposes. Records of removed clips — including clips removed for inorganic engagement — are kept so the same clip cannot be resubmitted later.
Your choices
- Hide your name on public leaderboards at any time, from Discord.
- Disconnect an account or update your payout details whenever you like.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it. We will delete what we are not required to keep — records tied to completed payouts, and the removal history described above, have to stay.
Open a ticket in the Discord for any of these and we will handle it.
Security
Access to campaign data is limited to Momentum staff and, for a single campaign, that campaign's managers. Data is held with established hosting providers over encrypted connections. No system is perfect, but we do not hold platform passwords, card details, or ID documents, which keeps the sensitive surface small.
Children
Momentum is not intended for children under 13, and payouts are only made to people 18 or over. If we learn we hold information about a child under 13, we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be announced in the Discord.
